Chapter WA-A

We gained MikeR (on the far left) and he is getting ready to tag along. He is a recent transplant from Florida.

Almost ready to go. A few straglers as usual.

At check point #2, Angel of the Winds Casino.

District folks DO ride. Chuck and Deb on their GL1800, John on his GL1500, Barb on her Harley and Bob and Patty on their GL1800.

Its always good to see a smiling face. "Hi Sandy".

Bruce is never far from Sandy, or his toilet. He just had to bring it with him to the Fun Run.

It was a really nice day as you can see.

Okay guys, time to ride again. Lets go.

Poker Run planners, take note here. You may not believe this but this is an actual check point.
THIS is an excellent example of how NOT to set up a check point. It was on the side of a BUSY highway and in the gravel.
I really don't think a lot of thought went into this particular stop.

This was an unplanned stop.

No, Ranks is not taking a nap. He is investigating why his pipe is hanging low.

Ahh.. Source of problem found. Missing muffler bearing bolt.

Gary had a spare set of muffler bearing bolts in his saddlebag. What a coincidence.

Sam points out that a hardware store is right across the street.

Almost ready to go. Just got to smack this saddlebag closed and we'll be on the road.

We've made it to Everett Power Sports. Joe and JoAnn enjoy a snack.

They were cooking burgers and dogs for sale to benefit some charity.
The "Lunch Included" that was advertised on the Fun Run flyer was half a cup of chili beans.
I can't say I was too terribly impressed with that.
